It's National Running Day!

Today marks the fourth annual National Running Day, and it has me dreaming of ditching some to-do list items and heading out for a run. However, it is also National Business Etiquette week, so I will probably just wait until after work.

I run for a lot of reasons, to relieve stress, to stay in shape, to test myself, to get outside...
Why do you run?
Maybe you run because you got some new shoes – don’t forget to comment on our facebook photo or on Caitlin’s blog post to enter to win a free pair of inov-8s!

  2. Running is my play. When I am on the trails, there is no time, and I don't care where I go. I run as a child - with abandon.

  3. I run mostly to cope with life stresses. Nothing turns me around as quickly, as effectively, or as long lasting...ly(?).

  5. I run because I'm still able. Because it's a passion, an addiction. I run because I can, and there are those who cannot. I refuse to take it for granted.

  6. When you run there is no traffic.
    When I run I don’t need a e-Tag.
When you run you don’t have a boss nagging you.
When you run you don’t worry about money anymore.
When you run you don’t look in the mirror and worry about how you look.
When you run you don’t have to impress anyone to choose you as their life mate.
When you run you don’t have to be funny, romantic, caring, confidant, dynamic or strong.
When you run you can be yourself.
When you run nobody judges me.
When you run you can't frown.
When you run you get to know yourself better than 12 sessions with a shrink.
When you run you realise pain in manageable.
When you run you don’t spend money.
When you run you are always going somewhere.
When you run nobody questions your intentions.
When you run I don’t worry.
When I run I can do it alone or with friends, either way it’s fun.
When you run it’s convenient, you just need a good pair of running shoes (hoping you can help me with this) and you are set.
